Composition by Stagelight
Apr. 5th, 2006 10:28 pmMy dearest cast members, crew people, musicians, directors, and random adults sent forth to futher complicate my job:
Although not all of you need to hear these words, I need to say them.
I have been in the service of the AHS stage for three years, since I wasn't good enough for Metamorphosis. Since that time I have taken notes until my hands cramped in rebellion, learned scenes and songs and soliliquies which nobody has ever heard me deliver, and rushed about dealing with drama and theatrics both on stage and off, setting props, stressing out so others didn't have to, and doing mroe silly errands and solving more stupid problems than can be concieved of by mortal men. It is with joy that I have done this.
So I can take anything you can dish out to me. Any thing but one: I cannot continue to believe that in three years I have been more hated than loved, or that I am not a part of the amazing groups of people that have assembled under the auspices of the Drama Guild and the Gilbert and Sullivan Club.
Therefore, once the hurly-burly's done, and everything had been faultlessly pulled together once again, is it too much to ask for a thank you, or a gift, or one of the multitudes of hugs and kisses and congradulations you give in excess to one another?
Yours Always,
-Ej
