I really need D&D back in my life. In fact, I just plain miss RPs.

Some guys from my parish with whom I hang out and attend Bible Study said they were playing D&D today. Maybe something like that is going on in your neck of the woods. In secret...

Shops which sell comic books, (serious) board games, and, of course, RPGs tend to be able to hook people up with other players, if you are looking for some. There are also a lot more RPGs around than there used to be, which gives you a wider choice.

Oh, I know. I could go find a group if I wanted, but I also want my friends to play it with. I was in a Space 1889 game for a while, and Leprechaun: The Pretension before that, but there's something about D&D.

Is Leprechaun: The Pretension a parody of Vampire: The Masquerade? If it is, I need to see it. I have borrowed the VTM rulebook to steal some mechanics, and the Anne Rice "I'm so deliciously dark, darling!" vibe makes me gag.

No, I just call that system Leprechaun because it makes me gag too and there's a running joke in Buffy about there being no such thing as Leprechauns.
